Lusted for a Landy but the Pajero was sexier and bigger in the right departments, just like my Missus.

1st issue i have with the car is the super select lights.

They weren't working at all, due to missing fuses. They are working now but not sure its right.

    In 2H i have 3 green wheels - 1 rear and 2 front
In 4H i have 1 green wheel - only rear.

Any clue where to start looking ? I tried to have a diagnostic test done but failed to connect to ECU

first thing i would do is make sure all the bulbs are working.
the one rear in both cases is it the same?

second thing i would investigate, not sure if the 4h/2h sensors can be switched around
i found the center lock sensor dirty, cleaned it, all is well

Sounds like the switches to me. There is some extensive info on them if you search both this and the Pajero forum. Common problem.

2H shows 2 green on the rear
    4H shows 4 green
    4Hlc shows 4 green and 1 orange
    4L shows as above.

Suspect the 1 rear is just a globe.

Paj is going into to auto elec on monday for alternator repairs, so will get them to have a look if the alternator problem does suck my wallet dry.

Full refurb'd alternator cost me about R1500 a year or so ago, so use that as a yardstick. If they rebuild your alternator, insist they use Denso parts..

Happened across a video on how to changes the alternator bushes. Looks pretty DIY'able.

Anyone ever tried, do normal spares shop carry the spares ?

R1500 isnt too expensive, just like to fix things myself.

Caelex in Pretoria has all the bits and pieces you might need, I recently got a new alternator for 1400. Speak to Jean 012 327 5404.

Stuffed around in low range a bit today, right rear wheel stays lit on the super select dash lights.

Anybody experience the same problem before ?
