Yeah , up the road somewhere!

I'd have gone to fetch him, but I'd also had a bit of a picnic 😄😄😄

He managed to get himself off the next day 😄

I am looking for Video clips of God se Pad.
Especially the one that was shown some years back on the Safari Roetes, where one Hiliux landed with its roof ontop of another car.

I think that was Willie that landed on top of the other Hilux

Moegatle...nice for any vehicle, because you can choose your obstacles, and limited only by your own imagination and .....uhm....yes, those.

At se Gat....serious play pen that can keep you VERY busy. Be careful of the water sections (not the standard crossings). Varying water levels can catch you out badly. Make sure you have support who KNOWS what they are doing before entering the water drives.

CARNAGE CANYON...by invitation only. You better have an exceptional vehicle and know how to use it. Standards are set for vehicles before being accepted.

Once you get tired of these, most others will be boring, and feel like driving dirt roads.

That was not funny, fun, but not funny Willem had me worried when he lost traction and started slipping side ways to the even more steep part. The surface is unpredictable and treacherous....

I blame the drivers. I've been all the way up in the wet with open diffs.

Klipbok 4x4 near Barrydale was by far the toughest trail I have done. Whether it was because of the rain or just the general lack of maintenance it was a nightmare. I liked it.

Agree, worst mistake I made was tackle the tough stuff first, everything after that is a picknic, but we know picnics ... they can make you lapse in concentration and roll ... or something like that.

There was a magazine article a few years? back rating some of the toughest trails - I cant seem to find it now..

Maybe the guys who have driven many, can rate some of the trails they consider to be the toughest?

EDIT: Herewith list (based on info given in this thread):

    Moegatle
    At Se Gat
    Jobedi - near Vaalwater
    The Gorge - near Hekpoort
    Bobejaans?
    Hex Rivier?
    Wuppertal - Johmy se Poort
    Wagon Wheel - Ratel route
    3 provinces?
I found a route at http://boschluyskloof.co.za/reserve/home?/index.html that was tough / nice.

Ek sal bitter graag terug gaan na Sekororo en John sal saam kom.

Ek het my steering box daar bo gebreek en 3 dae daar vas gesit. Toe is ek daar af, verkeerde kant toe, in die donker, op die GPS se spoor.

    Great trip.
