    Default Ihaha Response

    Hi there,

Hoping to get a space in Ihaha towards the end of March (short notice I know).

I have emailed them 2x already over the space of a week and half with no response.

    Email address [email protected]

    1. Has anyone else experienced this? is there another way to get in contact. Currently in the UK so visiting the office is not an options.

    2. Is it possible to bank transfer from UK and the camps send you proof of payment? Entering the park via Kasane so won't be able to get hold of original documents from any offices in Maun. Wondering if email conformation's will get me into the park and then just pay park fees on the gate?

    Help much appreciated.

    Thanks

Sam, You may want to try calling them on [email protected] ....... Tel 00 267 686 1448
I think to bank transfer from the UK could be a bit expensive in terms of transfer fees.
I would try to pay by credit card rather.

Alternately you could contact Tara at Botswana footprints and for a fee she will make the booking for you and get your park permits which she will email to you.

Kwalate are terrible at answering their emails. Rather call them as suggested, or better yet, get in touch with Botswana Footprints and let Tara sort it all out for you for a small fee.

They accept payment by visa: after confirmation you can send your details (in different mails) to them.
It took me 3 weeks to get in contact...
And avoid site 1 or 10

Why? We actually like sites 1 and 10 because you have a neighbor on 1 side only.

I just spoke to them for you.
Between the 20th March to the end of the month, Ihaha is only available on the 31st (for one night only).

Agreed, we stayed at no 1 in December and it was great. I would avoid no 2 though, the baboons tend to take refuge in the big tree on that stand.
