Also interesting to note, we had my downpipe (120 kW) next to Johnboy's 132 kW and they are very similar, but not the same and not interchangeable. The 90 kW is even more different with smaller flanges.

Definately want mine done! I have a '14 132kw 4-motion auto with 38000 on the clock. Previously had Unichip, but now running REVO S1 mapping. There is no S2 to date as far as I know. Please let me know when would suit you, as I'm not too far away!

Just double check with Revo, I think there is a stage 2 available for the Amarok.

Happy to say that I will be with John this coming Saturday to de-cat my Amarok. Will give my view on the difference thereafter.

Went thru your pics Jason, is that a x-ramp you have ?
I am very interested as to how you managed to get it to work ? I have the OEM VW tow bar, can it work for me ?

No... It is not an X-ramp. I had spoken with Martin from X-ramp at the time, but wanted to make one on my own suited to load anything from my Offroad, to on-roads and even my GS. Ended up building one, tweaking it, then rebuilding to spec. Was fun... Even have had a caravan towed behind it!

To answer your Q, this was built completely around an oem tow bar. Removes in a minute or so, all by hand without tools.

It cost me about 3K in materials if I had to guess. Then just powder coating and wiring etc. the real pain was fabrication and being accurate... The reason why we had to rebuild. Many thanks to my ole man's welding skills!

Thats good man, I reckon having it custom made adds to the cost. But it looks good.
