Hi I had a quote from a few places around there for Sunday night. Now I have accepted their quote based on this recommendation.

    Thank you.

According to Google Maps Springfontein is 5 hand 5 minutes from my house and 5h 6 minutes from PE.

So that is close as can be to half way. I was first planning to go further on Sunday but this seems perfect.

    Default Overnight

    Overnight with secure safe parking.
When I used to ride the famous BlackBird's.
I purchased them in JHB and rode to The Horse and Mill in Colesburg.
It was ok. Safe parking was key and a pub next door for a good meal.

So just some feedback Vlugkop is about 5km from Springfontein on the gravel Plipolis road.

A sheep farm with 5 rustic rooms some braai place and a pool.

I could have probably got nicer accomodation in Colesberg but I am waiting for the Karoo night sky with no light pollution.

Currently the wind is blowing but it is pleasant outside.

I am also waiting for my slaapboud and pampoen koekies.

    Will feedback tomorrow.

Oh yes in the heat earlier a few quarts of castle light has improved the tiredness.
