I can always ask him if we can do it again and get a few guys that want switches and send it to me and I can in return send it to everybody. Not sure what the cost will be by the time you receive it. I do travel to JHB on a regular basic and could hand carry the switches.

Would need to order one time, otherwise shipping could get expensive.
    Id be interested as well.

Took my Rok to Mikem yesterday for the extended coils and spacer kit. Turned out my shocks were finished. Darryl immediately organised a full set of Bilsteins and it was all completed within the day. Great service from Mikem.

The bakkie now drives like a dream. Those Bilsteins come at a price, but they really are very good. I got about 35mm lift at the rear and close on 40 in the front, with which I am more than happy with. Now the 265/65/17 seem small again!!!

Congrats, you now have the same setup as I have. Definitely a big improvement over stock.

I am very happily running 265/70r 17 if it makes any difference? And mine is the 90kw donkey. Have been on this size for years and very happy.

Looks great Pierre. I have it on my bucket list as well. How much did it cost?

The coils and spacer kit is around R5k. But the shock set-up comes in around R11k. Its still less than the majority of other suspension upgrades, given u dont get a leaf pack upgrade. I am sure Darryl will be able to assist anyone looking for a leaf pack upgrade on the amarok. I have just kept the standard pack for now. I use mine for trails etc and never go on long overland trips with it heavily loaded.

Nice one, I am close behind you, on 46k km now.

Think I will keep this one for another 100k km or so.

Took the Rok out to a very wet and VERY slippery Berakah today! The river section in the beginning was closed off due to some rains in the area making it impassable, but the rest of the track was open. Needless to say this being my first time on a wet track I wasn't sure what to expect and my nerves were killing me. It was only myself and my friend in his modified prado on the track for the entire day. Things got hairy a few times, but I managed to complete the entire course, except the "Mine Shaft", without the difflock. Admittedly here and there I should have use the diff lock, but Stofpads sliders saved those situations, when things got a bit wild. The Lift kit has made a massive difference in clearance and the new bilsteins made it sure footed and comfortable. The new rock sliders certainly helped a lot in two separate cases and are certainly worth the bucks on the rok's with their low side cills. Other than two hits to the new Stofpad sliders (leaving only small scars and no other damage whatsoever), the Diff sump plug took a hit and started leaking some oil, but it appears it only came loose. Clean the area and tightened the plug. Will check the diff after some driving tomorrow to see if any real damage was done.

    Anyone else go out playing?
