I have a Fox suspension in my project Ranger. Will take Fox every time.

The Ausies will tell you OME is the best. In tests done in the States OME does not make the top ten. King and Fox rules

If you see some of those monster jeeps out there they use fox. As well price them, fox is not cheap and they make grate stuff. If I had the ching fox will do all day long.

OME can't compete with FOX. Compare the specs. But if you're lifting a Hilux then you're better off with OME. Although there are better options.

    +1

But for what it's worth the fox look so good 😁 and it's not as common as the rest.

I've had both shocks but it's the lift that needs to be brought into the equation. Fox don't do lifts but OME do.

If you want to lift a Hilux then google for an article describing the development of the RAW 4x4 system for a Hilux. It's also not as common but it's a better shock than OME.

The front fox shocks on the hilux come with the coil springs. It lifts the front of the hilux with 50mm according to the supplier.

I think you can adjust the height aswell, because it has rings that you can adjust.

So the back will be lower than the front?

Ome's entry to the Bypass shock world. The BP-51, 51mm diameter bore. Available for the Hilux soon. Adjustable front for height and load, also adjustable for compression and rebound.

Good looking shocks. Bypass shocks are for serious off road racing.
Other than good looks you will never be able to use the full ability on a standard vehicle.

They made for on road and off road. Also made to work with the std lift that Ome will give that falls within the vehicle standaards.

They got available for the L/C70 P/up, L/C200. Next the Hilux and Prado 150. Then they move on the the Ford etc.

I priced 4 x entry level adjustable Fox shocks a few weeks ago and the quote from the distributor was +R20k !!! That was just shocks. I will be going for the adjustable foam cell Tough Dogs at half the price instead.
