Just be aware that you get two types of snorkel for the FJ. The US FJ does not have an indicator on the front fender - so to fit most snorkels you have to remove the indicator and the snorkel does not completely cover the hole that is left.

So who sells the ones for the SA model cruisers and not the American style? Tjm does one at a massive price tag. Was R7k when I phoned. Almost fell off my seat...

I have one on mine, bought it like that though, and whoever did it just cut the indicator cover at the diagonal angle and stuck it over the balance of the hole. Looks pretty normal actually

I was scared to my bones. You can go to any Saffari centre, 4x4 Megaworld or even LA sports.

    Hi guys.
Any update on the snorkels for the SA version of the FJ?

Not keen on doing some dark magic around a flicker.

    I kinda like this:

Please noooooooo.looks home made and its only about 30cm higher that you standard intake, and it is easy to get a wave over your bonnet, believe me
I suppose you might suck in cooler air,but it will only get warmed up once it goes through your filter.

The Tjm for me is still the best fitting one. Only the price tag doesn't fit well with the balance sheet

hahaha. Yes i agree the UFO look on it is not lekker. But if they replace that upside down pot with a scoopy type one it might look better.
I can live with the drilling of the fender... But the drilling in the windscreen pillar for the bracket that holds the top of the snorkel in place.. sjo no. Makes me cringe.

I am also interested in a FJ snorkel, any chance of us doing a group buy. I am sure there are other FJ owners wanting a snorkel aswell?
