Has anyone added a bicycle rack/holder to their Cheetah or Serval?

I have asked David to fit me a towbar at the back to fit my Thule on it.
He was not keen to do it. He fits a tow ball at the front.
Problem is you need to take the bicycle rack off before you can open the bed.
Will investigate when we get ours if a rear option cant be retrofitted.

Hopefully I will be able to take the step in August. I would however love to buy a second-hand one if possible but I understand that finding a second-hand Cheetah or Serval is almost impossible – will start my search in earnest closer to August or bite the bullet and buy new….. time will tell….. all I know is that I will be buying one for sure….. come August come!!!!!!!!

He mentioned that to me as well. I was thinking more along the lines of the bicycle rack fitted to the Companion on top of the nose cone.

I was hoping for a frame behind the sparewheel at the back dropping slighly lower with a towball.
The bicycles would be more protected from stones and you dont need to take the Thule off at all.

I like that idea. The only question would be its effect on towing and what it does to the overall balance of the van?

Nice and congratulations to all 3 owners .

Want to share the reason why all three chose 'bulb' and not 'led' tail lights?

Secondly, none of you opted for Bundutec's 'BunduAwn' awning!? .....

Nothing wrong with either, just thought there are reasons for your choices .

I wish you all many happy camping experiences .....

    Thanks Vernon!

As an Afrispoor owner I am sure you are aware that there are endless options available and unfortunately most are a closely guarded secret! Never knew LED was an option...

The awning received a lot of attention from all 3 of us but in the end decided on the standard version as we felt it offered more shade/cover and was perhaps a bit more robust.

What's your first impressions regarding building quality etc? Especially if compared to erm... another brand.

George to be honest I think the other brands finishing is better but..... They dont have an inside shower or such a big bed or so much headroom above the bed. The Cheetah just suits our needs much better than what any other brand could offer us.
