We have 3 weeks in Best Bush Month Aug/Sept on Site 14 at Tsendze Been going since the first week end it opened Years before the Roger Era ..also 6 nights at Shingwedzi and 8 nights Punda Maria

Sad thought as we will most likely be packing in anticipation of being kicked out on the 27th. Eish, how time flies.

What an awesome camp Site 13 for 3 days last week. Camp was very quiet and not many sightings around but that's not really the point. The sense of isolation is great.
Elena is amazing, didn't meet Rodgers though. She showed me where the Scops owl and Barred owlet where hiding.

How do you guys manage the heat at night when camping, surely it must be over 30°C at night this time of the year.

We take small 12V USB fans which I bought from Clicks. One for each person. Zip open all the tent flaps and get a bit of air movement.

Although, I think this year I am taking a rain jacket and gumboots as well.

Spend a lovely 3 nights at Tsendze. Site no 3 is quite nice.

The camp is a delight and they obviously had good rain. Green and everything so well maintained, kudos Roger and Elena.

The general area had good rain and there are lots of standing water in the bush. The Tsendze and Letaba rivers clearly came down in flood not too long ago.

Good morning all, we’re leaving for Tsendze in a couple of days time and can hardly wait. Got a list of available sites from Mopani but most of the prime sites have unfortunately been taken. Looking at sites 5, 16, 17 and 21 and possibly 28 as well Proximity to ablutions a factor, as shade and privacy as well - don’t want to hear neighbours chomping on their weetbix at 5 in the morning. What bothers me about site 5 is that when I camped there many many moons ago site 5, 6 and 7 where basically one huge single campsite and 3 as well I think. Is this still the case? Site 28 - any shade and will it be possible to manoeuvre one’s caravan in such a way that one is remotely private? What I remember previously is that sites 26-27 or 28 was also one huge site

21 first choice, 5 second choice.

21 probably has the best shade of all the sites in the camp. You can see the fence, but it is not on the fence. Closer to ablutions than 5 as well.
