Mabua to Ghanzi Route Advice Required

Need some advice please. I am busy planning our route from Mabua (Mpaya pan) to Thakadu Camp (Ghanzi) for Sep next year, as part of our trans Kalahari safari. Would it be possible to do this stretch within one day? The alternative would be to spend 1 x night camping on-route (I believe there are some nice concessions on-route), or turn of towards the A2 sooner and overnight at Kang. We are a group of 6 x vehicles with rooftops/trailers. Thanks in advance!
