    Default Average Fuel Cosumption

Did any of you find an easy, or correct way to re-set your average fuel consumption when re-fuelling?

I don't how, or why, but sometimes when I fill up and re-set my mileages, my average fuel also re-set to 7.5l/100km, but I am let to understand that you actually cannot re-set your average fuel consumption.

Any ideas if this is at all possible, and if so, how?

Hi , from my experience I've never had the average fuel consumption display reset to zero . With the ign on and pressing both buttons together for ten seconds you can re set the service reminder and on some foton vehicles this will reset average fuel consumption Back to 7.5 . The thought is you have cleared the memory of the trip comp so you are re starting its calculations .

Just as an update , really the only accurate fuel consumption reading is from the engine ECU . The dash display at best is a guide . There is a new and more interactive dash being developed ... But it's next yr at the earliest
