I've had similar fun repaired by Burnco - I'd suggest you give them a call.

Thanx ZukiRuki, have actually spoken to Hein already. Just looking around if I can't get undamaged axle instead of straightening.

Nope, straightening won't work - perhaps you should call some scrapyards, look for a Jimny that had a rear-end collision. Other than that, it's better to get a replacement

Well R18,000 later all repairs/replacements were done, but bliksems did not see axle issue. I have been driving for a month all is OK except I noticed wheel gap to body is seriously out on left side, then with further investigation I saw problem. See pic

When I spoke to Hein and to L Seven/7 Landies they thought it might be possible to straighten as it is min. Remember, I am looking at what I can get, but battling at scrap yards.

I had much the same experience, I only found out the axle was damaged once I tried to engage low range.

Best to get that sorted out, then the Jimny can be a play car again
