I have never heard issues with dash rattles in a sport,EXCEPT the casing around the radio in some vibrate on bad roads and "rattle" where the display screen is.The cabbyhole maybe but easily sorted with 2 foam strips on either side inside the cabbyhole
    Where are you hearing rattles?

    Good evening.

Please can I be updated on who still does the Gen 4 dash mod, and contact details.

There are enquiries on the Pajero Owners Group FB page, and I would like that they be assisted.

    Thank you

I fitted these to my car a few weeks ago, and it was reasonably simple operation.
I used the alternative method of double-sided tape to secure the top part, and then just made a hole in the plastic part that goes around the radio and bolted through there, and through the lower mount.
Very doable as a quick DIY job.

I have not yet done the cable tie mod though - planning that for next time as I wasn't sure how to remove the cubby and instrument cluster.

The cable tie mod is important for the rattle of the dash as it pulls it down nice and tight preventing it from flapping up and down..So try do it and you will notice the biggest difference once its done

Hi All. I have just bought a 2013 LWB Pajero. It is in good condition. The only issue I have with it is that dash rattle. I am attempting the cable tie fix this weekend and would really appreciate it if someone can point me to a video on how to remove the cubby and instrument panel to access the locations the cable ties need to be fitted.

If you search on YouTube for "Denmonkey Pajero NT dash removal" there is a 3 Part comprehensive explanation of how to remove the dash.

I think i posted my youtube videos here somewhere which shows the location of where to do the cable ties.I suggest do the one behind the cluster first then you will know exactly what to feel for on the left as that one you cant really see and need to feel for it..Then bend the point of the cable tie at the point, about 6cm,push through the gap with your right hand then catch it as it come through with your fingers of your right hand..its pretty tricky, especially if you have large hands..
