That has chrome handles. Is it not the VX? That will be one sweet ride.

The GX also has silver handles - the black door strip points to it being a GX, the VX strip is usually grey. But there are so many different imported models so you never know

Definitely a GX you can tell by the front radius arm mounts with radius leading to the front axle.

This is what some Aussies like to do with their wagons. It is probably and Aussie GXL import. Some mines did the same with the 100, and they all have the yellow reflector tape.
In OZ bakkies (Utes) are sold as cab/chassis, just like trucks, then they put a tray on the back.

Nope it is not a VX nor a Ausie import, it is my father's 105 4500 GX Landcruiser which was converted here in SA to a double cab with a bin, it also has a camper unit which can be fitted after removal of the sides of the loadbay. I am a medical doctor at Montana Hospital and my father was there for a procedure on Wednesday and that is when you spotted his sweet ride. For any questions you can contact or pm me and I would be glad to provide more information. She also has OME, air helper springs, freeflow and chip, centre console was removed and fridge installed, overhead roof console wath 2 way radio, caska aftermarket radio, front bumper, winch, spotlights and the whole chassis were recoated by himself. She has done many trips and has many stories. Unfortunately my father is in poor health with terminal pancreas cancer so I am not going to give out his contact details but I would be happy to provide any information needed.

If I saw that vehicle for the first time I would also have taken photos, it is a compliment to the owner not an offense. It was a pleasant surprise to see so many other people also appreciating the vehicle. Thanks for sharing the photos and please continue doing so as any owner with such a unique vehicle would surely also be proud to see his or her vehicle on this forum. As they say sharing is caring.

There's a 100 cut like this in Queenstown too but the load body has been made up using the existing sides and rear doors. Looks pretty good too.
