    Default Best campsite spots?

Next july we are going to Botswana, we finally managed to get bookings on most of the places we wanted. We have been working with Bushlore on this and they said that we could try to book a specific site, but so far my itinerary goes like this.

7-8 jul. CKGR - Deception Pan - CKDEC06 campsite (tried Sunday pan, no luck)
9-11 jul. CKGR - Passarge Pan - CKPAS01 campsite (02-03 was sold out)
    12-jul. Makgadikgadi Pans - Khumaga - KK 1 Campsite
13-14 jul. Maun - Thamalkane River Lodge Family Chalet - B&B
15-16 jul. Moremi - Third Bridge - MT 3 Campsite
17-18 jul. Moremi - Third Bridge - MT 5 Campsite
19-20 jul. Khwai - Dijara Campsite
21-24 jul. Chobe National Park - Savuti Camp - RSV 4 Campsite
25-27 jul. Kasane - Senyati Safari Lodge Campsite

Deception is it run by bigfoot or the DWNP?

Any comments and feedback will be highly

Deception is run by DWNP, Passarge with Bigfoot

A bit of a pain that you have to change sites at Third Bridge, esp if you have a ground tent campsite setup... but better than not getting in there at all... people talk about certain sites at Third Bridge been problematic for baboons but to be honest they could favour the trees at Site 3 in September 2015 but then Site 8 in July 2016 so not really worth worrying about

The site you have at Savuti isn't a proper campsite at such, it is a reserve campsite - closer to the ablutions. But again, better than not getting space at all.

I think it is a good plan and the sites at Third Bridge aren't that bad.
MT3 is at one edge of the big site close to ablution block 1 (just close to the bridge), MT5 is opposite the entrance gate when you come in from 2nd bridge side, so I wouldn't mind, they give different perspectives.

Andy, I thought RSV4 being the camp site called "Paradise", the #4 site being adjacent to #3 overlooking the channel and RSV4 is furthest upriver.

So I think you go the best option there.

Keep it this way and enjoy.

Yes Haus is correct, RSV4 is behind ablution block and Paradise is the last facing the river after CV4.

I had in the past bookings for 3th Bridge, that were changed when arriving there. I mean: maybe you can arrange it once you get there, that you can stay on one spot.

Deception camps: I like a lot more the Kori-campsites. If you can get hold of them, I would drop Deception.

    Thanks for all the feedback..

I am in the first place just happy to have bookings at all the camps. I am especially happy to get space at Savuti, even if it's a reserve site. I am travelling with kids, so it is nice to be near the ablution block(even though paradise would be nice).

@gkerkhof Why do you prefer Kori over Deception?
