My 2x4 Xtrail has been treating me very, very well since 2010 when I bought it new out of the box.

Aside from doing services on time, the only area I have needed to replace has been suspension in the front due to rough road driving without proper alignment.

I was advised by Bosch at my last service (very good service but pricy) that I really must clean/replace my injectors (All four) based on the mileage alone.

The vehicle has done 160k km so their suggestion seems to make sense, although this costs in the order of R16k!

Is this absolutely necessary?
I have no smoking, no power loss and the fuel economy is flippen great still...

Is this a part that one can ride until symptoms of replacement become apparent?
