    Default Geländewagen Videos

For those not on the MB4x4 forum -

I've uploaded a couple of video clips on YouTube from when I still had a G.

Just to give you an idea of what these vehicles are capable of:

And what not to try in a Petrol Powered car that is not prepared properly...

Now my hands are itching to get another G-Project...

    Lekker!

    Thanks for sharing.

Why did you sell your G?

Somewhere along its 30 odd year history (1982 model) someone fitted a Ford V6 motor with a c220 5 speed gearbox.

The combination was not that bad except for the horrendous fuel bill, but I reached a point where it would have cost me more to convert it back to a standard G (with merc engine) than what it was worth.

That combined with the arrival of child no3 in the household put some strain on the budget and the practicality of a 3 door SWB as a daily run-about.

So sadly the G had to go...

The search continues for another one...

Look, GW's are undoubtedly awesome vehicles. In fact, the clips you showed don't really do them justice.

But, what white vehicle is in the background from 45 - 55 sec in this clip?
