Post Re: Amarok PDF files and recalls

    Morning Guys!

As a "newbie" on the forum, I thought I'd share a very handy website I have been using for a while.
More focused on the DIY-guys, and will definitely be handy to anyone that is in need of parts!

    http://www.oemepc.com

It's basically the same as the ETKA program that the dealers use, maybe not as updated as the VW dealer system.
Nonetheless, you will get a part number from it, and contacting VW with a specific part number saves time, as the bloke on the other side does not have to search, and possibly supply you the incorrect part.

Keep in mind that you'll be searching a lot in the beginning while getting use to the site. Be sure to get your model and period of manufacture correct.

Another useful site, from the Schaeffler Group, will get you all the VW clutch, bearings, timing belt kits etc etc part numbers.
Remember that VW uses FAG, INA bearings, Luk Clutches as OEM parts, difference that it does not contain the VW Dealer part number stamped on it. Furthermore, exactly the same (in my experience). Scratching around on the site, you'll see that it's not only for the VW guys, but any other car make that Schaeffler make parts for. With LUK/Schaeffler group in SA, you can specify the part number to any parts supplier, and they should be able to source it for you. As above, be sure to get your model and manufacture period correct.

BIG BIG thanks to everyone that supplied the documents and information so far, it helped everyone extensively, especially myself!
Hope my contribution will assist someone in the near future

    Regards,
    Steve

I have come to realize that the amarok auto models fuse box differs from that of the original diagrams issued for amaroks. Mine and a friends autos are both different to the diagram and both 2014 models. The original diagram has all the narrow fuses grouped and the wide fuses all grouped next to it. Ours have one row narrow and one row wide etc.

Is there someone who has a copy of the Auto's fuse box?
