    Default Sprinter 4x4

Think this will make an excellent camper. Dont see much in SA regarding conversions. Sure a company like Alu-cab will be able to build something very nice.
    Love this popup roof.

i have been driving myself one for years and dont want to miss it.
you get used to the size and even at the Shopping mall you know already where to park. it is a total different style with the loading space and if you build a camper, where ever you go there is your goods with you. no packing and off loading. just get in and drive and relax.

They been out for a while the Ethekweni Municp has a few they use for rural areas see them go past work everyday, saw one yesterday PVT vehicle was awesome with snorkel and lovely tyres.
I currently have a standard Sprinter and it is a dream to drive turning circle beats a mini lol only issue is the back tyres and spin happy if not enough weight at the back.

This is just about the only thing my wife will consider in the "camper" type range - she is completely not interested in trailers/caravans/rooftop tents - would rather tent it etc..... Then she saw one of these at Etosha last month - I was given instructions to get info, pricing, fitment....

they are amazing... but bear in mind that the standard MB 4x4 has very limited offroad! the differential locks work through their 4ets system. no real diff locks available - only after mods.
the 4x4 sprinter is already outsourced - the system comes from Oberaigner in Austria. They also provide (aftermarket) a proper 4x4 system - same as Iglhaut or Achleitner. The problem is that you cant order the proper 4x4 through your MB dealer.

MBSA offers 2 different Sprinter systems:
Sprinter AWD with low range 1:1,4 and 4ETS traction control,
Sprinter 4x4 with low range 1:2,85 and centre, rear and front difflock.
available at MB commercial vehicle dealers.
