Default Route 10 - 15 ton truck Gauteng to Lilongwe

    Hi all
Let me start out by saying I know nothing about Malawi, never been there.
What will the shortest / quickest / safest / best route be for trucks from Gauteng to Lilongwe? This is for work so I'm not looking for a scenic drive, the shortest / quickest / safest / best roads is more of a priority. Also, any idea more or less how many days I should budget to get there?
    Thanks

Beit Bridge - Nyamapanda - Blantyre

At least 1 day per border. Average about 60km/h.

I agree on Beit Bridge but would opt for Mutare rather than Nyamapanda. Saves you the traffic and road blocks all around Harare, and gives you a reasonably peaceful trip through Mozambique. Its my preference when driving to Jhb from Tete...

Beit Bridge to Mutare via Masvingo, turn left onto the 102 and head for Tete on the 103 .After the Zobue borderpost fork left on the M1 and head for Lil.
