Does anybody have an old left hand golf club? Preferably an iron. Condition is irrelevant. I want to shorten it for my toddler. It looks like he prefers hitting left.

Might be too heavy for him. Junior club heads are generally a lot lighter. I believe if you just shorten a grownup club, it might end up too heavy for him. If you don't come right, shout. I might have an old "klipyster" around here somewhere. Lefty. I'm in PTA though.

Thanx man! Never even thought about weight and all that. Not that it really matters, as long as he can hit a ball with anything he is happy. I first want to confirm with which hand he wants to play. If he is slightly older I'll get him a proper kiddies set if he wants one.

    Hi All

Hoping to stumble upon an unused -but functional/repairable -technical drawing board -on a table stand or on a floor stand.
A1 size would do well -A0 size may work (if it is not a triangular-arm type machine)

Possibly someone doing a lockdown-clearout needs more garage space?-, and has progressed to computer drafting.

I'm planning some art and build projects which need setting out templates -hand-drawn!

Any type would do -be it the parallel motion straightedge type, or drawing machine type with rotating scales on tracks.

I'm in CT, so nearby ( 1-2hrs drive) enough for me to collect could work -otherwise transport would become an issue.

Would be able to collect after the lockdown!

I have on similar to this.. It is an Ozalid board with (I think) a Khulmann mechanism.

It has no rulers, but I know where to get them. It has got a bit of damage to the board on the lower left side, from water splashing on it.

It is in Parklands and it owes me R500.
    Cheers,
    John

    Hi JohnnoK

Thanks-would definitely like to have a look at it (-once lockdown is over!)

I incidentally do have some Kuhlman scales in my boxes of old studio bits, so it could well work out.

Will drop you a PM closer to 'freedom of movement day'!

I'm looking for some copper pipe or tube. I want to build a still and I want the column to be ideally larger than the 22mm regular copper pipe found at Builders, and I don't want to go buy a 5.5m length. Looking for 35mm or larger diameter, preferably 42mm or thereabouts, but I'm not picky here. Begger and choosers and all that. I would love it if someone has an offcut piece, around 40~50cm in length that I can take off their hands, and it would be amazing if it had a capillary fitting reducing that size down to 22mm as well (if possible). That'll mean I can build the column and use regular 22mm pipe for the rest!

If all else fails, this might just work. I guess it could be sent via PostNet, if you would be willing to do so? 28mm is already better than the 22mm I can get my hands on, and would work OK for a column, even if just for the start!

Did a measurement last night quickly. 28mm will work perfectly. If you offer stands and you wouldn't mind cutting the pipe for me to postnettable pieces, I would REALLY appreciate it! I'll pay for the postnet fees, obviously!

Hi guys, any one maybe have 1 or 2 30X9.5R15 / 245/74/15 tyres with a bit of legal tread for temp fix. Bust tyre on SJ. Preferably BF or Velocity Raptor (same tread), but open for options.
    Willing to pay.
    Thanks
