I have a 3" rear unit that tensions and aligns the belt. It is a tensioned slightly domed flat pulley with tracking alignment All you need then is a motor and main pulley and a bed.

Roughly 4m but if it is shorter that's fine I can just cut it in half or so as I need to cover a gap of maybe 200mm

While Andhee is on the KB5 topic, I am looking for two rims. Preferably 2010 model year or later to match my existing ones, but the earlier models will also do.

    Hi Riekie

May I ask what the width is?

Maybe I can cut it in 3 lengths.

    Default Electric motor

Having just given away a brand new 1kW motor I now find myself in need of a motor . Happens all the time.

0.5 to 1.0kw, 220V, running at circa 1800rpm. Anyone got anything laying around?

I am looking for an old transformer type DC battery charger, preferably with a 6 volt setting.
Condition is not important, if it needs clamps etc, that is no worry, all I really need is the transformer and rectifier to make my project work.

Western Cape-ish will be best, for me, due to shipping weight, etc.
    Cheers,
    John

I have an old transformer that comes from a pool chlorinator. I think it is either 9V or 12V. If you don't come right with a charger, you can have the transformer and build a rectifier and filter. Should be pretty simple with parts you buy at Yebo.

Use the table saw to make one ?

Easiest thing in the world to do. Google mitre sled.

And make a cross cut sled while you are about it.
