The body corrosion warranty is 12 years on your car.

My point being most people think their vehicle is out of warranty once the 'dealer warranty' expires, being 60k / 3 yrs / whatever it may be.

We had an issue where we did an annual re-evaluation of the vehicles value. We then had a write off like 6 months after a re-evaluation and they depreciated the vehicle to the current month (6 months after re-evaluation) so in effect we were paying more than we should and payed out less.

Insurers should have been called once a month to readjust the vehicles value as we are paying for a month older car.

But yes, these things can get petty.
