2SO can only "fix" if it is broken not make injectors operate better than from the production line.
if you have access to a endoscope and could feed it in through the injector port, you would see that the engine is a lot cleaner inside
this should be evident inside the turbo as well

My thoughts exactly. The best thing I did last week, is to replace the MAF sensor. The Disco runs much better now.

injector readings are influenced by various factors
compression, condition of copper washers, injector harness condition, oil in harness, injectors themselves etc all affect the readings

I totally agree with this. If you look after your engine as per manufacturer specs and follow the correct service intervals, you will be a happy camper. I dont believe in 2SO, thats my opinion.

For injector readings that are all over the place, take it to an indy and have him check the mechanical and electronic settings. This TD5 I got 2 months ago was useless in the morning and didnt really have any power - ever. Took it to my Indy in jhb and we found that the injector codes wasnt paired with the ECU. Also the mechanical settings were out. She runs like a bat out of hell now!

Not meaning to start a war, I simply want to state what I have observed on the forum: many of the guys that swear by 2so, seem to be the ones complaining about injector failure at some point or another. A few weeks ago somebody asked why only diesel injectors give problems and not petrol injectors, my opinion is because nobody adds 2so to a petrol car.

My 2cw. No that this is off my chest, I will never speak off 2so again.

we don't have control over the quality of fuel we buy
even the best engineered vehicles can be destroyed by poor oil or fuel

petrol does not leave carbon deposits as diesel does
petrol injectors are also not direct injection and the injectors subjected to direct heat or carbon buildup so different scenario

incorrectly coded injectors has nothing to do with this discuussion

as stated many times before - no one is forcing you to use 2SO so if you don't like the idea, then don't support it

My injector readings were all over the place, coding got that sorted. That was what I meant to say.

    accepted
everyone who have bought a second hand Td5 or had copper washers done should verify that the coding is correct
it takes 10 minutes to remove and read the injector codes
you however need to have access to diagnostics to verify the codes are correct
