Default Bundu power Generac BP5000 generator

Anyone have any experience with these? They are American "made" (in China?), cheaper than the Japanese but more expensive than the Chinese brands.

I'm just worried about after sales service, Amazon lists it as discontinued, and if Bundu Power goes under where do I go if it breaks?

Bundupower is a huge business in generator sales and rentals, the other side of the business is even bigger supplying even bigger sets to industry. For piece of mind check what engine and alternator it uses, then go to your local Genpower and ask them if they are able to work on that engine and alternator.

    Smile Bundu Power & Generac

    Hi kds

I am the MD at Bundu Power, hopefully I can shed some light on the genset you're considering.

The 50Hz unit BP5000-G, Generac model number GP5000 is definitely not discontinued, they are still supplying us with this model and you can find it on their website here: http://www.generac.com/all-products/...-series/gp5000

We've been in the genset business for 13 years and plan to be around a lot longer. However should you ever need parts for this gennie they can always be ordered from Generac or Amazon.

With regard to generator being manufactured in the US, this is 100% true, they manufacture all of their models in Wisconsin and pride themselves on this. They manufacture their own engines and we carry all the spares. Should there be a part we don't have in stock at the time the lead time is about 2 weeks.

If I can help in any other way please PM me and ill gladly assist

    Thank for the information.

It really is nice to have a supplier who cares enough to enlighten us about his products.

Its supplier interaction like this that would put this product on my shopping list.
