Yes they pressure check and also do some type of endoscope check for internal corrosion. One of my 2kg CO2 bottles was scrapped recently. They put a new inspection sticker on those that pass.

Are you referring to the fire extinguisher or the LPG container?
Posts #16801 and #16802 probably refer to different things.

I have approx 2.5 m3 of fill material available.
It is good for a building project, not for garden applications.

You will need to come with an appropriate vehicle or trailer, a wheelbarrow or two and a helper or two.

I’m in Douglasdale (fourways area of jhb).
Would like it taken this weekend.

    P.S bags not included.

Bigest mistake people make with these NiCad machines is to leave them on charge for too long

Hey Hbannink, these drivers were not on permanent charge but stored away and were only charged when they were needed and used….but seems that has not saved the batteries either. They are fairly old units tho.

I’m sure that can be re-packed but not sure if it’s worth the effort….but guess that’s for the taker to decide.

I left mine on charge for too long last week. There was smoke coming from the batteries! I let it cool down and the screwdriver worked perfectly. Now it remains to be seen how long the batteries last before being shot. My guess is its going to pack up sooner rather than later.

I have the exact same screwdriver. Its been going for 6 years now and still strong. I might add that it is in weekly use.

Charge for about 3 hours after heavy use and immediately remove it.

Pieter, contact Fire Appliance Services in Paarden Eiland, they will be able to answer your question.
They used to do all our hydro testing of cylinders when I was at Court Helicopters.
