    Default Cross (Angry) Polo

Any Cross Polo owners who gave give a thumbs up on a second hand platkar?

I know its a fluffed up polo, but the 21mm extra ground clearance and roof rails will come in handy for SWAMBO and me...

And general advice; is it worth it to to go for an older TDI model or a newer 1.4 petrol?

i just love the cross polo (the original one) and would in a heartbeat get one....

they are comfy, have attitude and enough power - and you would just love the cruise control!!!

but the new ones that look like the vivo - no. to me just a waste of money.

driving a diesel currently and have driven the 1.4 and 1.6 in the not so long past - i must admit - i am just smitten with the diesels.

Diesel to me at this stage is much more fuel efficient due to my own daily commute i do but with that said - my diesel is not happy with city driving and short distances - and for that reason - i will stick to petrol if you are going to do just that..

but driving long distances - Diesel all the way - they just love it.

Thanks for the honesty, we do a fair amount of long drives per month, averaging about 30 000kms per year so hence the reason the diesel starts making sense.

I am smitten with the car, just wanted to hear users feedback. Do also think cruise control would be the bees knees...

    thanks for the reply

I owned the newer shape, 2011 model. An orange one! Absolutely fantastic car! Traded it in for a Jimny, stupid. Although at that stage in my life we needed a 4x4.

The diesel is phenomenal, allot of power with very good fuel consumption. And of course it's a VW, build quality is excellent. To such an extend that we've just traded the Jimny back in for a Vivo Maxx. Petrol now but still a VW, great car!
