    Default KRUGER- trip good idea?

    Hi all,

I have a trip planed for my son and I and want to ask if it's a good idea.

The trip is as follows: two nights at orpen, then drive to lower sabie and stay there two nights and then back up to satara and another two nights there then out the park. Is this advisable?

    Thanks

Sean, nothing wrong with your plan. Great game viewing area's. Orpen and Satara is close to each other, so I would change the first 2 nights from Orpen to either Pretoriuskop or Berg-en-Dal. M2CW.

Agree. From Orpen you have first sections of the same road every day. Should be fine if you stay only 2 nights. Great chance of Sable towards south of Orpen. Enjoy your trip. If you cannot change, do the trip as is, will still be great.

    Just my 2c worth.

It is advisable to find out what the current MALARIA situation is and go well prepared.
There have been a few cases this year, some with bad results.
