    Default Help with Sierra injectors

Hi 4x4 guys. Hope all is well. Can you please assist. I have a Sierra with fuel injection. This model is only a south African model so I cant import spares. I got some info from the escort cluv that the rover v8 injector system is the same unit that the Pretoria plant installed in my car. Any ideas where I can find those injectors. Its a lucas b380ca +- 200cc. About 75mm lenght.

normally the Opel injectors (2.0L Astra) is a good option as replacement for the Rover
i normally source from RAM parts but guess Diesel Electric is also a good alternative
just take a sample to compare

Land Rovers never die, they simply become organ donors!

Citi golfs injectors are also a viable option, and pretty easy to find as so many people mod the golfs and then need bigger injectors.

I think I have a 2.0 Golf EFI inlet manifold lying in the shed, I'll have a look during the week and see if it hasn't been borrowed for obligatory recycling.

Its important to note that you should source injectors with the same characteristics and flowrate as your OEM Ford injectors, otherwise the engine can run very rich or lean, depending on the replacement injectors. And that would mean re-mapping of your ECU or a piggy back chip to correct the fuelling.
