    Default Standby for Bonnidale

Bonnidale may need help .... A BIG thanks to MsFarmgirl for bringing this to our attention.
I am away in Moz but am in contact. Can we make a list and I will contact you the moment they need help (hopefully not)

From Karina (swambo)........ I spoke to Lyn it has been hectic there!! She said they don't need help right now but if it turns again and comes back to the house they will need help.
Maybe you can send out a mail just to see if anyone is prepared to be on standby to help water down and protect the houses etc if it heads there way again. they must be collecting water, it sounded as though the one bakkie rolled or something.

There is rain expected tomorrow so everyone is praying for that. Nico has been very unwell he was busy with colonoscopies and stuff and his heart also is not good. He has been fighting the fires!!!
There has been massive damage all round, to Oudtshoorn and Herbertsdale side to, they where engulfed in it. Loads of damage and loss. All there water pipes are damaged now so making it worse to protect themselves.

Ek het nie te lank terug in Mosselbaai aangekom en kan sien dit het lekker gereŽn. Hoop die brand is geblus alhoewel die wind sterk gewaai het. Het enige iemand nuus oor die plaas?

Looks like all is clear, thanks for offers, I will see if I can organise some photos, not easy as Bonnidale is one off a "slinger" telephone so no adsl or cell phone connection
