    Somebody just dropped this beauty off at our creche.
    1. Which tortoise is this
    2. Where can I safely release it in Cape Town N/Subs?

    Agulate... Rooi Pens....

    Probably up towards Veldrif... or keep it in your garden, and then try get the opposite sex so it won't be lonely and soon you will have loads of these in the garden.(cigarette for scale)

    We found a tortoise walking in the street once, dropped her off at Durbanville nature reserve.

    Males: indent bottom shell (For mounting on females)
    Females: flat bottom shell

    No...don't want to keep it...they belong in the wild.
    Besides...my Bull terriers will make a small meal of it

    Anybody I can call to collect it?

    Best to drop it off and you personally release it.
    Or just make a turn at the entrance and let it loose in the flowers/plants on the left as you enter the reserve.
