    Default Barn find 1959 220S Ponton series 4 door

    Probably not the right place! Sorry

    I have a 1959 pre fintail Merc in my garage.

    How do a firstly find out what it is worth and secondly get it out of my garage?

    Any advice appreciated

    Looks similar yes, not sure if it is 100% the same.

    Do you have a pic of the front? It has indicators on top of the fender IIRC

    Other than the dust layer etc

    The 220S is the most desirable one of those Pontons, more so than the 190. Would love to see some pictures.

    That is called an Adenhauer(spelling may be off) Google the name. Fully restored, as in Mercedes Level concourse, you looking at R500-700k!

    Maybe I picked wrong photo! Definitely a 220 S Ponton 1959. Let me take some photos and the there is no further accidental misleading.

    Ha ha, but the restoration will cost many hundreds of thousands. You will also need to supply 6 000 000 pics of every part that was done. Most parts will be available from Germany.

    If it is still running now, you probably won't get too much for it sadly. beautiful Mercs! 220s was a straight six and went like a bat out of hell!!!
