Exclamation Help needed to find a Triton roof rack

I need to source a roof rack like this for my Triton (bolted to the canopy and overlapping the cab). Any idea as to where I might try? I want to attach an ostrich wing awning to it.

I wouldn't want that rack close to any LWB car, it is a recipe for disaster!

Rather get a smaller rack that fits to either the canopy or the cabin.

Have you seen how much a car articulates through obstacles or such?

In other words, depending on the clearance between the front of the roofrack and the cabin roof, you will scratch the roof and /or even worse, your roofrack mounts could tear out of your canopy if there is enough chassis flex.

The photo indicates Carryboy - they manufacture canopies.

He requires a roof rack. Not a canopy.

Yes, but maybe they did the roofrack as well that is why their name is at the top of the photo.

Thanks for the comments - just to clarify: 1. The roof rack in the picture is off a New Zealand Carryboy website. There is no evidence on the SA Carryboy website that they do roof racks. I plan on calling them anyway and 2. The roof rack would not be attached to the cab part (only the canopy) and the distance from the cab's roof to the roof rack seems big enough...Are you suggesting the space is not big enough? Any other thoughts?

That roof-rack is NOT mounted/bolt to the roof... It's mounted on the canopy with an overhang over the roof.

    Will be fine with flex.

Arb has roof racks like that, but I guess only fits the arb canopies

As long as there is ample space left between the overhang and the roof, AND, the roof rack isn't loaded to heavily in front resulting in it sagging to the cabin roof.

    Then yes.

Yes saw that, never said it was MOUNTED to the cabin, it however is terribly close and add some weight to that and well see what happens.
