You're mixing up the Chevy 4100 straight six with the Valiant slant six. The Valiant motor was "pap " compared to the Chevy

The 4100 Chev 6 cylinder makes a great conversion into an old Landy . We had one for shooting many years ago & there was no stopping that Landy , strong as an ox

He is asking R85K , does not mean he will get it . If he needs money he will surely negotiate otherwise he'll sit it out & wait for his price
That being said , if it were mine , I would not let it go for less as it looks very well kept

But to be fair, this El Camino is beautiful, and you would not be able to buy one and restored it to this condition for R85k.

Maybe a little more than we would be willing to pay, but you don't get much collector / unique car for R85k today.

Remember 20yrs ago when Ford Fairmont GT's were rotting under trees and couldn't be sold for R20k ?

A Farimont GT in the condition of this El Camino will be worth R280k.

I showed this to my wife this morning. I had the look of a 15 year old boy seeing boobies for the first time. My wife just asked me what is so special about a bakkie.

Funny how woman don't get El Caminos...

The thought behind it is really simple. The front looks like a car and the back like a truck. The front is where you drive and the back where you f*$#

First two are too much red-neck for my blood. The last looks like something a Mexican with too much money got his hands on
