Question Unknown features of a Ford Kuga?

    Hi there

I am looking into purchasing a Ford Kuga but the sales websites and dealer staff seem to conflict on the features of the Ford Kuga.

    Can anyone tell me
    1) Is there OPTIONAL Ford-supplied satellite navigation system?
    2) What model of Sony audio system is in use?
    3) Is there a 230v power inverter?
    4) Is there a 12v auxiliary power point in the luggage compartment.

    Any help is appreciated.

Oh, and is there a reason to go with a Mazda CX-5 instead?

    Regards
    Joe

    2) What model of Sony audio system is in use?
    - not sure, but it isn't bad at all
    3) Is there a 230v power inverter?
yes, it does have one - once again, on the titanium ,not sure about other models.
    4) Is there a 12v auxiliary power point in the luggage compartment.

The new mazdas are good looking vehicles, don't know their specs.

Also look at the Subaru forester....I'm a very happy owner.

Edit: Contact JP (from Fury Ford Modrand) on the forum. Hell be able to give you all the info you need.

    Smile RE: Awesome Vehicle

    Thanks MThompson

I have done a lot of homework and it does seem to have good value for a soft-roader.

    Thanks for the confirmation!

    Regards

No option for sat nav at all from Ford SA. Maybe something after market.

Audio system is mediocre at best. I have the 2.0 TDCI Titanium with all the gadgets. My T6 Rangers audio system is way better.

I have had the car for over almost 20 months and never used the parallel park assist once - gimmick. Ford sell the Driver assist package at a fixed amount. The powered rear tail gate is really useful as is the active cruise control. Collision warning can be a pain as its very sensitive. 19" rims also really suck and totally eliminate any off road capability you thought you would have. I have lost tyres and wont take it on a gravel road again. Stick with 16' or 17' rims to get more rubber between you and the road. 19" also makes for a very hard ride. Ford need to give you options on which driver assistance gadgets you want rather than throwing in the whole lot.

Cant wait for the new Everest to come so I can sell mine.

My wife has an ambiente fwd ecoboost. It doesn't have all the features of the titanium, but all the ones she wants.
Its really a nice car. Well thought out.
By the way, we think the sound system is great.
