    Default Hilux Vigo suspension upgrade

Hey I'm new to this forum and looks like you guys know what you're talking about so I thought it would be the right place!

    I'm driving a 2007 Hilux Vigo 2.5L D4D.

Was looking for a suspension upgrade mostly due to the front sagging but obviously for the ride comfort and handling too.

After considering the local available brands I've ordered OME front coil springs and both front/rear shocks (assuming the rear doesn't need the lift and is almost never loaded with more than 100-200kg).
These were mostly recommended all around and also by the trusted dealer I ordered from.

Now I've looked at OME's website and saw that this set should only lift the front by 30mm.

Looking back at the other brands I've noticed that EFS mentions either 30 or a 40mm lift, and IronMan says 45mm.
Both of these are also cheaper than the OMEs (IronMan is 30% cheaper!)

I asked the dealer and he said that its true that the IronMan springs are a bit taller than OMEs but to compensate for that he puts the medium stiffness springs instead of the soft ones (no bull bar or winch upfront) in order to achieve the same ride height, which he says is about 50mm lift from the original, mentioning that the ride is going to be a bit stiffer this way.

Riding height is important to me as the Hilux tends to hit the rocks often due to its IFS, but I was wondering if anyone noticed the different heights in these, whether I'm really going to achieve those 50mm this way and am I losing much in ride comfort by doing this?

Also are the OME's really worth the extra cash (as the dealer says) or I should just go with the cheaper IronMan or EFS?

One more thing regarding OME, he says that I shouldn't take the more expensive nitrocharger sport shocks at the back coz I'm not loading it much and therefore the standard should do it.
    What do you say?

I would really appreciate a quick response since the order has already been made and if I'd like to change it I better do it fast.

    Thanks a lot it advance!

    Ran.

    Thanks Jaws.

Eventually I kept to the ordered parts as they were (OME medium weight), the front height has increased dramatically (about 3" lift from its previous state) and the truck now sits even on the ground.

Now this is great n all but off road driving is now much stiffer on the small bumps, more than I expected and it really bothers me.
I also suspect that much of the front articulation had been lost due to the stiffness of the springs.

Right now Im considering switching to the softer model from OME, the dealer is fine with that if I wish to do so, my main concern is about losing the great clearence I have now...

Thought about using the soft springs and adding spacers to the strut this way I could keep the height and the suspension should be more comfortable and flex, what do you think?
