    Ek het die naweek Tierkloof gaan ry. Baie lekker roete met baie klippe so ek kon die Traction Control van die Ranger mooi toets.
    Volgens my, en onthou dis my opinie alleenlik het ek die volgende gevind:

    1) wiele was af geblaas tot op 1.3 Bar en my bande is M/T bande
    2) ek het taamlik gewig agter op my bak en bakkie het ook n Ironman suspensie in.

    Ek dink dat die Ranger se Traction Control bietjie stadig inskop na my smaak. Dis belangrik vir die manne om te onthou dat hulle nie die petrol moet los as hulle voel hulle verloor bietjie traksie nie. Jy verloor mos momentum en Traction Control vat dan langer om weer by te kom. Teen daai tyd het jy alweer baie ver agteruit gegaan.

    So, volgens my het ek alles reg gedoen, maar sou daarvan gehou het as die TC n titseltjie vroeer in gekom het.

    Heeltemal korrek - en ek dink dis hier waar die meeste ouens die gebruik van traksiebeheer verkeerd verstaan. Mens is gewoond daaraan om voet te lig as jy traksie verloor. Met traksie beheer moet jy hou - en soms selfs effens gas gee sodat die stelsel sy werk behoorlik kan doen. As jy dit nie reg doen nie sal dit nie werk soos dit moet nie - en sal jy van die opinie wees dat dit sommer 'n pot snot is.

    Die ander ding - en ek dink dis waaroor hierdie uitdaging gaan - is hoe vinnig en akuraat die stelsel reageer. En dis waar die verskil tussen die onderskeie modelle inkom. Party fabrikate se stelses is nou maar net eenvoudig meer doeltreffend as ander s'n.

    100%. Ek het nog nie ander fabricate se voertuie bestuur op n roete nie, so ek het nie n maatstaf nie. Soos genome, sal ek graag wil h die TC moet so titseltjie vroer sy verskyning maak. Weereens, net my opinie.
