Default Annual 3 Province trail - 1-4th January

    Link to some pics..: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/k76j08oqc...FSS6tI5ia?dl=0

Usually we have already had a thread going for the trail above... but this year the 16th of December falls on a crappy day in the middle of the week...

I know most people will be busy during the December break, but I need to do this trail...
So even if its just me and my son....

I have thought long and hard about this and have decided to go and do this awesome trail on the above mentioned week end...

    Itinerary:

    • The idea is to arrive on the afternoon of the first (the roads will be quiet).. and then set up camp and chill with a warm fire and a Jameson....
    • The morning of the 2nd we will do the long trail (The actual 3 Provinsies route)
    • That night we have a big fire... and chat etc...
    • The second morning (3rd) I want to arrange that we do the "exclusive" route over the other mountain that Angelblooms, Hercules and I did last year( this trail is only done under direct supervision of the owners... and then also include one of the shorter routes on that day...
    • The 4th (Sunday) we pack up on our time and go home... Sadly I start working again on the 5th

    Website: http://www.3provinsies4x4.co.za/

    Costs: http://www.3provinsies4x4.co.za/tariffs/

R100.00 per stand/night for 2 people and R45.00 for every extra person

R180.00 for the main route and R80.00 for every other route..

There is NO other trail like this... I promise you you have to do this trail at least once...

Just one heads-up: Apparently HELSHOOGTE has been closed..

Those who want to join please feel free to add your name.

year before last years thread: http://www.4x4community.co.za/forum/...ght=Provinsies
    last years thread: http://www.4x4community.co.za/forum/...ght=Provinsies

Guys please note this is not a car damaging trail, but if you do something wrong it can kill you so, no drinking will be allowed before or on the trail, afterwards you can crawl or slither to your tent as far as I'm concerned.. I will also keep all gas lamps away from myself...

    Confirmed Attendees:
If I have it wrong or have missed you, please let me know...

    Hi Andrew.
Two quick questions, will a stock double cab handle the trail?
The other have you got a rough costing for the camping and trail fees?
Would be very keen to join budget and trail condition allowing.
