I am wondering if there is any way to get T4A maps for Southern Africa onto the Nissan Pathfinder SatNav system.
Thanks Marius - I can't seem to find the software that Nissan uses. I have looked online endlessly but can't find anything. From my reading into T4A, it seems their maps only work with either Garmin or Caska systems. I don't want to change any of the hardware on my Nissan and am therefore wondering if anyone has any experience putting T4A maps on the existing Nissan system. Or if there are other alternatives for loading maps onto the Nissan system. We are planning a number of trips into Southern and East Africa and simply can't understand why Nissan only makes maps of South Africa and Lesotho available. We would prefer T4A as they seem to have more of the unknown roads, but at this stage any maps of Southern and Eastern Africa on the system would help.
They are usually windows ce or android based. Try to find the radio model number.
Hi Bakken,
The navigation system you have in your Nissan, is it a factory fitted unit? Please note that our Tracks4Africa iGo SD Cards is only compatible with Caska in-car entertainment systems and not with factory fitted units. It has been tested on models 0401E and CN136. The T4A iGo Primo SD card works with the model CN138 & CN141 and the T4A iGo 8 SD Card works with the models CN136 & 0401E. Our iGo SD Cards can also be compatible with an in-car unit that uses Windows CE Operating system but we have to test it first, as we are not sure if our iGo SD Cards will work with these units.
Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks.
Regards,
Mandy (T4A)
