4x4Direct - Impressive service and impressive products

Hey guys,

Too often we only have threads about complaints, so I wanted to start a thread highlighting excellent service..

I wanted to fit an LED dome light and came across 4x4Direct. Saw they had a branch right around the corner so i popped in for a visit. Friendly people, very knowledgable and ended up walking away with more goodies than I had originally planned.

Thank you Trevor and team for excellent service. Very impressed.

die groot gros van hul besigheid is web gedrewe so hulle MOET pryse publiseer.


meeste ander winkels het net n skyn web blad, want hulle maak staat op voete in die deur vir hul besigheid ...


En dan natuurlik die feit dat die eienaar SELF meeste van die items GEBRUIK .... nogal iets anders om besigheid te doen met iemand wat sy produkte KEN - LEKKER

Not sure if this is the correct spot but I will try anyway (please forgive me).
I have a Jeep cherokee TD with 250k on the clock but when starting now, it sounds like it is about to explode (stuck valve, bent pushrod or No1 Injector TDC signal fail I would think). I have nursed this Jeep since 100k and done all the work myself as was badly burnt by the dealer a number of times. But this job is going to be too big for me.

So I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a workshop/mechanic who has worked on Jeeps in the East London area?

So far I only ordered once from them and it went absolutely good with them, no reason to complain at all. Placed the order, payed with Credit Card and like 2 days later I had my stuff I ordered.

Also ordered Fortuner snorkel from them!! Very happy!! They even inform you when ordering that they do not recommend the postal service as the strike is still ongoing and advice you to use courier.. 3 days later and parcel was in my hands!!

Could'nt agree more with you about Safari Center web-site. "useless"

The 'shop' (rather a shoplette) is in Gemini Street, Brackenfell....close to R&D Offroad.

Trevor runs the shop...nice chap.

All the stuff advertised on the website is available off the shelf.

Exactly that was impressed me the most! Went there twice and ended up spending way to much money.

Great service from them. Ordered a couple of things from them, delivered to my door. Few days later one electronic item stopped working, I mailed them and 2 days later the courier delivered a replacement.
