    Default Disappointed in Groenkloof

If you were planning to go to Groenkloof because of the pretty website do not waste your time. if you were going to do a very easy 4x4 track just to learn a little bit if you are a newbie it is OK. except for the Rocky track which was very bad when I was there about 4 months ago and seems to have been filled in I would rather go to dewildt or Hennops more to do and see

What I was there two weeks ago, didn't even engage diff lock it was that easy. Groenkloof is for beginners , can't imagine how someone could manage to roll a car there .

Maybe lots of skill - my cousin went mountain biking today and said she saw it, but she did not have any description except the it was blue.

Thought maybe someone on the forum might have more info.

Go to Groenkloof, what is old hat to the experienced guys is difficult for a noob. My first trail was Groenkloof and you can get to know your vehicle with little risk of breaking it and damage.

I have had my Paj over a year now and remember well the first time I stuck it's nose into the warthog hole and especially when you come out and only see sky. You do learn very quickly but there is nothing wrong with starting with the easy one's.

    Peer pressure can be wrong
Lusted for a Landy but the Pajero was sexier and bigger in the right departments, just like my Missus.

    +1

Also did my first solo 4x4 at Groenkloof, enjoyed it.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.

That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
