    Hallo Uys.

    Dit lyk baie goed!

Hoe gaan jy by jou "jack" en ander "stealer" standaard gereedskap uitkom as die rak geinstalleer is? (Gat links agter)

    Groete!

    Dif,

Vordering is pynlik en stadig - my werk meng alweer in met my hobbies.

Default Nog vordering - amper daar!

    Default Plans and drawings upload

Ok, so the system is done, and it is time to share the plans with other Fortunate owners.

First up is a 3D drawing of the Aluminum frame with the cut-lengths of the sections. The front is the side with only 1 vertical member, except for the corner members. Only one drawer frame is used, so the side with the large opening (rear) is where the frame goes in.

The holes for the runner must be drilled 75mm from the bottom of the frame, to allow the drawer frame to clear the lip at the rear of the boot.

More to follow - gotta run now.

Default DWG Files for laser cutting

The files attached to this post is the files required for the laser cutters to cut and bend the brackets. The 00 prefix is the folded drawing indicating the over-all sizes of the finished product. You will still have to weld it on one joint when it comes from laser cutting. The 01 prefix is the flat state of the bracket - this is what the laser cutters use to program their machines. I used Kare Sheetmetal in Pretoria and can really recommend them - their price was 1/3 of others, and their service and product excellent.

VERY NICE.....
