    See the silly plastic Gold engine cover, you can pull it off with your index finger -
    well that replaces the sound cover over the tappet cover that Isuzu had...

    I see now. Interresting, hopefully they put it together to the same quality, that makes it an absolute bargain(doubt isuzu would allow them to build the motor poorly seeing its a partnership), hope you have many good miles!

    Okay so I saw this beaut of a bakkie this morning. What a stunning vehicle, and I explained how the window/door lock buttons work so the Fong Kong car designers weren't that silly. Except for the aircon button

    I read somewhere something about the sump or oil pickup on these motors that are not exactly the same as the Isuzu and can cause issues. The nice thing about this motor is for a couple of grand you can buy a complete new motor from the guys in PE. At the price I dont think it is such a bad buy. Let's see.

    If it fails drop a genuine isuzu import in there. Still cheaper than a hilux.
