    Default Conqueror Conquest Trailer

    Hey Guy's

I took the plunge , i am busy buy'ing a Conqueror Conquest , just think it is time to spent more quality time with my family , I looked around for about 6 weeks , did my homework and in the end it was between the Conquest and the Ecko 4 , came down to personal taste , both are excellent offroad trailers and hopefully very good.

Thanks for all the threads here , it really helped alot with the final decision , now all I have to do is wait.....and then enjoy the trailer.

Any other advise will be very helpfull , Thx !!

Will post some pic's when I have the trailer

hi rick, just be careful of the weight of your new trailer, i see you have a colt. is it petrol or diesel? sorry just checked your avatar, v6 is good but not that good with weight, weight kills you in heavy sand etc. i have the echo 3, much much lighter than the 4 for very few features less. hth
    cheers

    Hi Mark

I had a good look at the weight , and in the end the Conquest is only 45kg heavier than Compact (or so they say). The Tent will also add weight offcourse , but for extra space and that bed, I think worth it.

    Thumbs up Conqueror

    Hi Rick.

Swambo and I went to the LA Sport expo last weekend, had a good look at all the trailers as we are also in the market for one. In our opinion the Conqueror was the clear winner.

    Good choice and congrats.

    Hi Rick

Congrats, the Conquest is a super trailer. I have a Compact (only the wife and I) and it serves my needs 100%. Have taken it to Zambia (Kafue), Namibia, 2 x Moz and the odd Kruger/Pilanesberg trip with no problems whatsoever (except some sand blasting on the Nam trip).

I have towed it in thick sand (not sure if anyone knows the dune road to Island Rock in Moz) without any issues. Trick is when you deflate the car's tyres, deflate the trailer's as well.

Also the service from the Conqueror guys in Heidelberg is very good

We are going to Khutse end of June and looking forward very much.

    Enjoy it

    Default Conquest Trailer

    Hi Rick

I bought my Conquest a year ago. The best conversion I did was changing the back lid from top hunh to side hung. Now I can put shelves on the door hinging sideways and have the stove flip down. I fitted a 65l fridge to the front/side door on a slide and fitted the two 75l tanks. One is for fresh water and one is for diesel. Did many other conversions and love this trailer, it is rugged strong and tow like a dream with my pathfinder. Also pt on 17" rim and tyres to match the vehicle tyres.

    Hi
Got my Trailer on Friday from Conqueror in Heidelberg , very good service i must add.
Went to Buffelspoort the weekend , friggen cold but anyway , what a pleasure with the trailer , no more hazzels.
Towing is a breeze at 120 , won't go faster anyway , sleeping , kitchen , awnings , packing space is wonderfull.
It took me about 35 - 40 minutes to set everything up , I think this time will came down alot later on , I was not organized at all , no problems anyway , I will start to organize the Conquets according to my needs

Thanks for all the reply's and help ....
