Default Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in December

    Hi

Can anyone tell me whether a trip to Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park is a good idea. I would like to go the camping route and know nothing about this park.

I am thinking about 5 nights or so.

If you take a aircon with December should be fine :-)

The first is to find booking. Nossob is already full and Mata Mata the most of the month. We will be at Rooiputs for 3 nigts. The 3 rd year in a row. Lots of drinking of water and some swiminig is nice. Enjoy!

Has anyone been to The Mazhou Camping Site in Mapungubwe National Park? They have space in December.

My last visit was in 2010. Stayed in the Tented Camp, but did drive down to the Camp Site. I still want to go camping there. Nice shaded sites and standard Parks Board type ablutions.

    Beautiful area to visit.

Seems the heat is going to be a given that time of year. Thanks for the info.

Camped @ Mazhou beginning August for 2 nights. Lovely campsite. But the vervets are bastards. Mapugngubwe beautiful landscapes. But imagine it will be hot in December. It was already 28C when we were there.
