So I don't see any categories for JMC bakkie owners nor any threads. Maybe I am just not looking in the right place.

But surely a category for JMC should be added to the Technical Talk area. I've seen a few of these bakkies on the road and would love to hear from JMC owners. I also see they have a new bakkie being released into the market as I'm typing.

You can buy a 4x4 double cab for 190k... say what! And it has leather seats.

Imagine the long, hard, intense monologues that could be had on eg trade-in values.

From the little I have heard, no real big complaints so far on these bakkies.
Obviously trade-in values would come up.
I am more interested in the quality of the vehicle, ride, reliability, issues, and service from JMC.

So if there are any JMC bakkie owner out there, willing to stick their necks out and give us some feedback on these bakkies.

@ Site admin - How's about adding a Category for JMC owners maybe?

Car magazine had a JMC double cab in their long term fleet for a while. Not sure if it was 4x2 or 4x4 though.

Never heard of them until this thread. Their DC is actually a nice looking bakkie. Pity there are no powerful ones for a little more money. 84 kW & 235 Nm isn't much these days......but for less than R200k......

There is no category because, until recently, Jialing Motor Corp did not offer a 4x4...
But maybe Dirk can start considering it... After all he started a GWM section.
The GWM section was started when Dirk copied the Isuzu section.
He can do the same here...

Apparently the diesel engines are the 2.4 Defender Puma (Ford) engines.

No problem, its common knowledge that if someone cannot afford or drive a specific vehicle they become motoring journos in order to criticize them...........

Still think a JMC section should be created. We should see some owners appear.

They are busy introducing a new bakkie which could seem to be interesting.
