    Hi Drikus,
Thanks for the reply. Would you mind which sealer you used? I guess you sealed the main tent and the add-a-room part? Do you also use the 6x6?
    Thanks
    Chris

I have a issue with my HCDP 6 V charger in my Outplay. When I switch it on the green and Amber lights flash for about 3 to 5 seconds after which the green light which indicates trickle charge goes on and you can hear the faint whistling sound as is normal whilst charging. but after another 10 seconds or so I hear a click sound , the green light remains on but the whistling sound stops. I do not think it is charging as there always used to be a faint whistling buzz.

does anyone know what could be the cause. the battery is charged at about 50percent according to my solar charge regulator and all 12v plugs work.

Any idea where to start in finding the problem?

Hi, I had issues in the past with mine. Was mostly lose wires and a temperature wire that was not installed.

Contact HCDP directly. You might need to find their details on the internet.

    Middag almal

Just returned from trip to Zim where trailer travelled for 8 days on very poor 4x4 only roads and took some severe punishment. No issues and everything held up to the abuse.Something that crossed my mind though, on game drives we always pack everything away and anything edible is kept in the bakkie or locked doors of trailers to avoid any baboon trouble and damage on our return. This made me think, when you open the tent, it is connected to the side of the trailer around the drawer door openings with Velcro. I have seen baboons rip open a coolbox and get into places you wouldnít think they could or would. Pulling the tent off the Velcro fixing would be so easy and they then have full access to the tent which is your bedroom. The same goes for a predators who could, (I'm saying could, not would), quite easily gain access. Anyone had baboon or other animals gain access to the tent by pulling the Velcro?

We also came back from a three week tour through Namibia and Botswana without serious problems. I had some dust comming in on the fridge compartment and my wiring from the car, charging the battery, melted badly due to a short circuit but we changed the wiring at Swakopmund and no problem further. Never had a problem with monkeys/baboon entering the tent, I do however lock the doors all round when not at the camp.

Kariba was it you passing us between Francistown and Gaberone on the way back the 7th of July?

    Hey Everyone,

So I recently went to pick up my offtrax outplay that I managed to buy from a previous owner that barely used it!!
I'm super happy with our purchase and cant wait for our first trip which is this coming long weekend in Pilanesberg!

I just want to hear if anybody has made an alteration to the gas pipe that leads the stove to the gas bottle?
Reason is that I dont want to connect and disconnect it everytime you want to slide away the kitchen unit.
I want to have a more permanent solution by perhaps making a hole in the trailer and putting some sort of a gas pipe connection to link from the outside to the inside

    Any ideas ??

    Thanks
