I agree, why pay half a bar for a Hilux when Ranger's, Amaroks & Navarra's sell for half that...
    Hey, Gilbert...?

I did the homework and R460k for the 4x4 auto is a good deal.

This one comes with a massive tv. I wonder if it fits into the big plastic dash. I bet it does.

...and there the Mad Manny in all his wisdom, or lack thereof, forgot there is a Limited Edition Fortuner. Mmmmm.

Stem saam, maar dis nog erger as mens na bakkies kyk. Want dan moet jy nog geld bysit vir n canopy (as jy een wil he) en rubberising ens...

Why do we have to pay half a million for a Bakkie?
The latest engines don't even offer economy?
So much for all the electronics?
You may as well have a points and plugs setup or an original diesel. No hassle no fuss.
That's why people feel so paranoid about maintenance. It breaks it costs you an arm and a leg! You completely held hostage by the agents. No one else can fix it!
I just don't see the value in a rapidly depreciating asset, unless you writing it off to tax, or image is that important to you.

This commercial member thread has gone so far off-topic, now it's a classified zone as well... LOL

Its down to preference and VFM.

I would pay that for a 3 year old Disco, others wouldn't.
