    Default Buying a Suzuki Jimny

    Hi Guys

Looking for some advice because I am buying a Suzuki Jimny this week. I have found the vehicle, it' s a 2012 model with 39,000 km on the clock. Should I go for an extended service and warranty. The vehicle currently has the remainder of a 4 year or 60,000 km (whichever comes first) service plan. Services are every 15,000 km. The warranty is the same deal.

    Thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks

    Firstly congrats on the Jimny!

Extended service and warranty depends on how you will use the vehicle? Will you be adding a lot of mileage or will it be a weekend warrior? What are the costs involved - need to weigh it up against servicing the vehicle yourself after the service plan expires.

Mechanically the jimny is a very simple vehicle and based on what i've seen on the forum most owners decide to rather service the vehicle on their own and stay away from stealers.
